Steep hill repeats x 20 at high end of tempo pace w/pull work at the top. We want the steep climb to be an appx 60sec climb. Use whatever outdoor climb you have but definitely try to find something 15% or steeper. At the top, hang x 10sec, pull-ups x 4, hang until forced to drop. Easy controlled pace down. Let’s use a towel or a rope with knots draped over a tree branch for the hang/pull work.
*Tempo pace is appx 85-90% of max HR, or if going by feel, comfortably fast but right on the verge of uncomfortable.
*Bonus workout:
Push-ups x 5, backward bear crawl x 10yd, run x 90yd. This completes 1 round. Continue repeating for a total of 30.
