Yancy Camp Workout 459
Today I’m challenging you to reach out to someone who could be helped by someone like yourself. Many of us have worked our way in to a situation where we are financially stable and our life situation as a whole is stable. Today I’m challenging you to reach out to someone where you work, in your family, or in your neighborhood/community who could use some support. I was in corporate management for many years and I learned the value in getting to know everyone on your team and showing them all as much respect and support as you possibly can. Our janitor was one of the most dedicated and hard working people I’ve ever known. Jorge was his name and he was an absolute rockstar employee and salt of the earth man. He had so much respect for his position and how it played a huge role in our overall level of customer service. At least once a day I would let Jorge know how much he was appreciated. I wanted him to know that I recognized his consistent dedication. Jorge was paid an average janitor salary and many would see him as “the janitor” but I watched him start his own company and hire many other janitors. His business grew and now he has numerous contracts across Austin. Every time one of his employees would come work at our facility, they would work just like him. Jorge became a great leader and business owner and I’m so dang proud of him. There are people all around you who have less than you and I. People all around us that are dealing with tougher situations that you and I. I challenge you to be present throughout your day to day life and notices people around you who could use some encouragement, a thank you, a fist bump, an award presented to them in front of the executive staff, a wholesome conversation about how their family is doing (learn his/her families names and let them know you’d like to meet his/her family), and every opportunity possible to be the best version of themselves at your place of business or in your community. Much love – Yancy

Phase 1:
Run x 2min at aerobic effort
Lunge x 1min at strong tempo effort
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating for a total of 12 rounds (36min).
Phase 2:
15% incline, tire drag, or trail run x 24min at aerobic effort (In this case, I prefer the 15% incline or tire drag but I know some don’t have access to either – trail run is fine in this case)

Continue repeating for a total of 5min for max reps (document reps)
Rest x 2min
Every Minute On The Minute (EMOM)

Continue repeating for a total of 5min (document hand position change reps completed)
Rest x 2min
*Assisted towel or rope pull-ups are fine if you’re unable to complete pull-ups without assistance.
*Shoot me a message if you’re interested in an awesome and very inexpensive tire drag system.
