Yancy Camp Workout 368
I’m providing an inside or outside option for today. I know many of you will be heading to Tahoe soon. If this is you, enjoy this one today because I definitely had you in mind. If you’re not going to Tahoe, this is still a great session to work on your climbing endurance and leg strength and I wrap it up with a very tough grip and pull workout.
Inside:
15-20% incline (go with 20% if your treadmill goes this high) x 4min at aerobic effort.
15-20% incline x 4min w/sandbell, sandbag, bucket, or other weight implement.
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating for a total of 6 rounds.
Finish w/15-20% incline x 12min at aerobic effort.
Outside:
If you live in the mountains and have a long continuous climb, you can get this one in outside. Every 4min you’ll find a rock or a log to carry and you’ll drop it after completing each 4min carry.
2nd phase:
Pull-up x 1 to hand position change x 30 to pull-up x 1 to 20sec static hang.
20sec rest
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating but drop hand position change reps down to 28/26/24/22/20/18/16/14/12/10 for the remaining 10 rounds.
