54/270 – for you veterans it’s been awhile for all new comers, get ready for one heck of a simple but tough workout:
You’ll need a 100yd field to complete this workout (If you’re on a field marked in meters, 100yd = 91.4m)
You’ll also need 27 coins, small rocks, or similar, and a timer.
Starting in the end zone, start timer and run the length of the field to the other end zone.
Complete burpees x 5 in that end zone.
This completes 1 rep.
Continue repeating this for a total of 54 reps or down & back x 27.
You’ll run 100yd and complete 5 burpees in the end zone every single rep for a total of 270 burpees and appx 3.1 mile or 5k or total running distance. We always tackle this workout as a time trial so go out and drop the hammer. It’s going to hit you hard mentally and physically but you’ll get through it. Make sure you use strict form burpees for every rep (chest must touch the ground and at the top, your hands must get above your head and your feet must leave the ground).

Bonus:
Bucket step-ups x 50
15% incline x 30min at aerobic training zone pace
10min bar hang challenge
Start timer and hang from bar until forced to drop
Burpees x 15 once you drop
Continue repeating until you’re able to reach a total of 10min total hang time.
The goal is to reach 10min as quickly as possible.
