Fartlek run on trail, road, track, or treadmill:
4min at aerobic base pace, 4min at aerobic training zone pace, 4min at tempo pace.
Yancy Camp 10/100 pull-up and hang until forced to drop (look at post between workout #’s 166 & 167 if you’re not sure how to do this)
Sandbell or dumbbell step-ups x 30
Repeat Yancy Camp 10/100 until forced to drop.
This completes 1 round. Continue for a total of 4 rounds.
*aerobic base pace is easy conversation pace (blue zone if using pace wheel app and running flat)
*aerobic training zone is 75-85% of max HR (go with 75-80% range for this workout – green zone if using pace wheel app and running flat)
*tempo pace is 85-90% of max HR (yellow zone if using pace wheel app and running flat)
