Finish warm-up with 3min barefoot run at C pace effort
Phase 2:
Run x 6min at zone 2 easy effort
10% incline training
Run x 1min at easy effort
Run x 2min at strong tempo effort
Dumbbell farmer’s carry alternating reverse lunge x 12
Dumbbell ground to overhead x 8
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating for a total of 8 rounds.
Finish with 10min at zone 2 easy effort. Increase duration if training for an ultra distance.
Ski x 500m at max effort
Farmer’s carry x 30sec
Alternating V up x 12
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating dropping ski down to 400/300/200/100 for remaining 4 rounds.
