OCR Trial Results and Yancy Camp Scoreboards
We’ve added some new testing to your “Log OCR Trial Results” section of your account. Here’s the full list of testing you’ll see now:
Resting HR (private)
Weight (private)
Bodyfat % (private)
2 mile/3200m run test (public or private)
Max burpees in 5min (public or private)
15% incline x 15min for max distance (public or private)
Max stric form pull-ups (public or private)
10/100 grip/pull challenge (public or private)
The three new additions are in bold. You can find details on how to properly perform the 10/100 challenge test by looking at the post between workout numbers 166 & 167. If you have any errors in any of your current entries, you can delete that entry and re enter with corrections and back date it with the entry you delete.
We are also launching Yancy Camp Scoreboards this week. The Scoreboards can be viewed on the YancyCamp.com homepage by anyone who visits the site. Any of the 5 tests you’ve marked as public will be on the Scoreboard. The board will have our top 25 times/marks. If you’d prefer your marks not to be listed, you can go in and mark them as private. Of course your Resting HR, Weight, and Bodyfat % will always be kept private but the other 5 tests have the option to be marked public or private. It has been great to see how many of you are using your Yancy Camp test tracking system. We had a little confusion with date entry but we’ve fixed that to now be mm/dd/yyyy and all should be good. I encourage each and every one of you to use the tracking system for all your tests. Logging results and periodically re-testing to track improvements has been proven to help in long term success and to help with motivation. One more thing with the Scoreboards, I’ll be creating Gold, Silver, and Bronze performance levels for each test and you’ll be able to see where you stand. I know many of you have seen some great improvements and this is because you’ve been consistent with your training and I’m so dang happy for you. The improvements will absolutely translate to better performances out on course with your running, climbing, carrying, and fewer obstacle failures.
Thank you all for trusting Yancy Camp with your OCR training and as always, please feel free to shoot me any questions you might have. Facebook private message to Yancy Culp or Yancy Camp is where I’ll respond the fastest. Have a great weekend team!
