Purpose: Building easy aerobicĀ volume. You had 2 tougher workouts this week, so let this be the day you take super easy, enjoy the scenery, take pictures if you want and let your body feel refreshed.
Easy overall effort – 3-5/10 RPE.
Warmup:
5min easy shuffle jog/walk
Workout:
1-2hrs really easy trails
Effort Descriptions:
Shuffle jog/walk – Very Easy Zone 1. Breathing VERY easy and relaxed.
Easy – Zone 2. Breathing calm enough you could maintain normal conversation.
Scaling options:
Beginners/low volume athletes – 40-70min easy
Yancy OCR Athletes – Run as described.
