Phase 1:
Warm-Up Routine x 1 round – Warm-up Demo
ABCD warm-up running x 3min – Instructional Demo
Finish warm-up with 3min barefoot run at C pace effort
Phase 2:
Every now and then I take the compromised running away and let you open up and truly feel how much your running is improving. This session is 6 simple uninterrupted fartlek rounds. Enjoy!
Run x 3min at easy zone 2 effort
Run x 2min at zone 4 above lactate threshold effort
This completes 1 round.
Continue repeating for a total 6 rounds.
*If you’re training for Beast and/or Ultra distance, take the zone 2 run duration up to 5min for each round.
Finish with 10min zone 2 effort run.
