Yancy Camp Workout 200

Wow, it’s hard for me to believe that we’re hitting #200 today. I do my best to provide you with as much creativity as possible while also working in detailed OCR specific training. It’s a balance I try to hit to ensure you’re maximizing your time while training to get the most benefit possible for your next race and every race thereafter while also keeping the program from being highly repetitive and eventually boring. I’ve been training athletes from many different sports for a long time and I’ve learned that it’s a huge benefit when we look forward to the training and a lot of that comes with me doing my best to be creative and keep things spiced up and throwing a few curve balls at you from time to time. Who wants to do the same thing all the time right! So with this being said, we’re going to have some fun with good ole number #200 🙂

200m run at 1600m/mile race pace (example – 8min mile would equal 60sec for each 200m)
Bodyweight squats x 20
Push-ups x 20
Split squat jumps x 20
Plank w/hip circles x 20 (see video in your OCR video library if needed)
Burpees x 20

Continue for a total of 10 rounds which will equal 200 reps of each exercise and 200m x 10.
Definitely scale this one back if needed and take 2 days to complete it.

Bonus:
15% or 30% incline x 30min at low end aerobic training zone pace (appx 75% of max HR).

Enjoy everyone and thank you all for trusting us with your training.
