10min low end aerobic training zone pace run
Rose is racing the 800m at the Stanford Invite Track Meet this Saturday and here’s one of her exact training session from over the weekend.
200m run at 800m race pace x 8 w/3min recovery (for Rose, she’ll be hitting 30-31sec for each.
10min aerobic training zone pace run.
Over the last 100m of each 200m focus on preventing tension from building up in your shoulders. Mentally coach yourself on maintaining proper arm mechanics and good knee lift.
2nd phase: pull-up x 1, hang x 10sec, continue repeating until forced to drop, rest x 30sec, toe to bar x 1, hang x 10sec, continue until forced to drop. This completes 1 round. Continue repeating for a total of 6 rounds.

*Aerobic training zone pace is 75-85% of max HR or if going by feel, comfortably fast.
