Life is a bumpy road of ups and downs. It can beat you up along the way and it doesn’t always make sense.. We find ourselves gravitating toward things that bring us peace and help make sense of it all. For me running, training, strength training, and OCR are definitely two things that I gravitate toward. On the bumpiest roads of life, there is always something to learn, always and always opportunities to teach and serve. Be the best version of yourself even when things get bumpy and every now and then when the opportunity presents itself, get out there and enjoy the finer things in life that bring you a ton of peace and help you make sense of it all – Run, OCR, Fish, Laugh, Love, Bike, Serve, Lift, etc. Until Life Makes Sense!
Workout 429:
Phase 1:
20min run at low end aerobic effort
2min run at aerobic effort
Push-ups x 30sec for max reps
Continue repeating but change exercise to:
Weighted squats
Pull-ups
Power cleans
Elbow plank w/side to side hip roll
Thrusters
Sandbell or kettbell row
Overhead press
Bar hang position changes
Weighted step-ups
Side to side squat jump w/sandbell or kettlebell row
*Make sure you tie the transitions together as tight as possible without breaks. I want you going hard during the 30sec periods and focusing on falling back in to aerobic zone asap during the 2min running sections. Focus on maintaining clean mechanics then entire 2min period.
