Yancy Camp Workout 452
Often times we allow things we’re unsure how to do ourselves and/or things that make us nervous hold us back. We’ll think about things we’d like to do and accomplish and even talk about these things to others but we won’t follow through because there’s a piece of the challenge, goal, adventure, business plan, etc. that we’re uncomfortable with. Today and moving forward, I’m challenging you to reach out to people who can help you in the areas where you’re struggling. Don’t let the uncomfortable hold you back. Bring people on to your team who are rockstars in your struggle areas. You’ll never make it alone or at a minimum you’ll hold yourself back from reaching the pinnacle. I’d argue that the most powerful animals on the planet are wolves. They aren’t the biggest (no where near) and they aren’t the strongest (no where near) but they are huge believers in the power of a team. There is great strength in numbers. The strength is in pack.
You’ll have 3 options for workout 452 (tire drag – 1st option, 15% incline – 2nd option, or trail run – 3rd option)
Phase 1:
10min (tire drag, 15% incline, or trail run) at aerobic (zone 3) effort
Pull-ups x 10
Thrusters x 10
Side to side squat jump w/sandbag or kettlebell row x 10
Plyo clap push-ups x 10
One arm dumbbell snatch x 10 (5 each side – switching hands each rep)
Fwd bear crawl x 20yd or meter followed by bwd bear crawl x 20yd or meter
Bar hand position change x max reps
This completes 1 round. Continue repeating but drop 10min down to 8/6/4/2min for rounds 2-5
Phase 2:
20min tire drag, 15% incline, or trail run at aerobic effort
